Maman…which resembles a spider, is over 30ft high, with a sac containing marble eggs. Besides the stainless steel version on long-term loan to the Tate Modern, London, there are several bronze casts, located at Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas City, Missouri; National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa; State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg; Guggenheim Museum Bilbao; Mori Art Museum, Roppongi, Tokyo; Samsung Museum of Modern Art (Leeum), Seoul; Jardin des Tuileries, Paris, Havana, Cuba; and soon (2009) Des Moines, Iowa USA.
